New event in Moscow for transport packaging, packaging machinery and automation
Hannover/Moscow. Deutsche Messe announced today the premiere of TRANSPACK, an international exhibition for transport packaging, packaging machinery and automation, from 22 to 24 of September 2020 at the IEC Crocus Expo in Moscow, Russia. TRANSPACK will run parallel to CeMAT RUSSIA, one of the country’s leading intralogistics events.
“TRANSPACK is a great sales platform for companies that want to do business in the rapidly growing market in central Russia, the country’s logistics hub. Particularly in the areas of transport packaging equipment and process automation, the region offers many opportunities,” said Svetlana Fedoseeva, Managing Director Deutsche Messe RUS. “TRANSPACK will raise the profile of global brands in this market and thus facilitate better quality of service and improve environmental protection.”
TRANSPACK will run concurrently with CeMAT RUSSIA, an exhibition for materials handling, warehousing equipment and logistics, creating synergies that help visitors find solutions for complex intralogistics tasks as well as optimize costs in transport packaging. Trends in Russia’s packaging industry mirror global developments, which include decreasing materials in packaging, ensuring compliance with the current logistics routines, and increasing online trade.
TRANSPACK’s exhibit program consists of four main display categories: transport and industrial packaging, packaging materials, machinery and industrial robots, and marking systems. Deutsche Messe’s subsidiary in Russia, OOO Deutsche Messe RUS, organizes TRANSPACK. Cooperating partners include the National Packaging Confederation (NCPack), International Corrugated Industry Magazine, Informational Packaging Portal Unipack.Ru, and the August Borg Information and Analysis Center.
