The international coatings community will gather at the European Coatings Show at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 25 to 27 March 2025. The show will be a platform for industry players to make new business contacts, meet up in person and network. Trade visitors can look forward to specialized providers from around the world offering an extensive range of paints, printing inks, laboratory, production, testing and measurement systems, adhesives, and construction chemical materials. The European Coatings Show Conference overlaps with the show itself, running from 24 to 26 March, and provides an opportunity for in-depth knowledge-sharing with more than 140 presentations. Tutorials will be offered in advance to help prepare for the Conference.
The European Coatings Show will occupy a total of eight exhibition halls, six of which will accommodate raw materials for paints, printing inks and adhesives, construction chemical precursors and associated services. Hall 4 will focus on laboratory and production technology, testing, measuring and application systems, environmental protection and occupational safety. Hall 4A combines all product and service segments.
Digital highlight: My ECS
The new My ECS platform offers visitors and exhibitors extensive information on the trade show and all exhibitors and presentations. Seamless integration into the ECS app enables visitors to prepare their attendance perfectly – and the scan function means there is no need for physical business cards.
Knowledge-sharing at the European Coatings Show Conference
As a meeting place for the coatings sector, the European Coatings Show Conference offers a wealth of forward-looking trends. This is where the crème de la crème can learn about the latest formulations, processes and plant technologies, and benefit from discussion with colleagues. The European Coatings Show Conference 2025 offers two and a half days of knowledge input on the core themes of sustainability, organically based raw materials and solvent-free formulations. A new record has been set with more than 280 submissions to the Conference programme, which once again emphasises the great power of innovation of the coatings industry. The ten pre-conference tutorials led by prominent experts on the morning of Monday 24 March will rapidly bring newcomers up to the state of the art and provide good preparation for taking active part in the Conference days that follow.
European Coatings Show Conference Award
The call for papers for the European Coatings Show closed in September 2024. The best conference submission will receive the European Coatings Show Award in 2025. Invitation to network at the After Work Reception Following an intensive first day at the European Coatings Show Conference, the After Work Reception will provide further opportunities for personal dialogue. Participants can mix with the speakers in a relaxed atmosphere and expand their network to include other experts from the coatings industry. New in 2025 is the ECS Student Poster Award. At the end of the first day of the Conference, during the After Work Reception, students will have the opportunity to present their research results in poster form. The ten best posters will be recognised with a prize of €500 and the creators will be able to give a pitch during the poster session in the presence of all the Conference delegates as they compete for the 2025 ECS Student Poster Award.
