The CeBIT’s Unmanned Systems & Solutions showcase event will be expanding in 2017 to include a flight show and a conference program spanning several days; visitors to the CeBIT will this year find the event in Hall 17.
At the last session of CeBIT, the drones showcase attracted some 100,000 visitors to the information stands. To reflect the new-look, bigger event in 2017, in addition to flying machines, exhibitors will be also be showcasing unmanned systems for land and water.
The presentations on the program will center on business applications for the economy, science, and civil society. The areas of application range from logistics and surveying, forestry and agriculture, police and fire brigades through medicine and trade. The German Federal Association for Unmanned Systems ( BUVUS) will also be involved in the 2017 event.
